Women's Recreational Hockey League

The Women's Recreational Hockey League promotes camaraderie and fun in the game of ice hockey.The WRHL consists of women ranging in age from 18 to mid-60's and playing hockey at levels from beginning to advanced.

Friday nights is reserved for women only for a little more than two hours at the Eagles Ice Arena to have fun! Please see our league calendar (to the left) for the dates, times, and tournaments for the WRHL games.

The first half of the 2010-2011 WRHL season goes from September - December. You must register for SWH and USA Hockey and attend a rate skate session before you can be placed on a team.

WRHL Team Expectations

Each team captain will set their own team guidelines.

As soon as you realize you cannot make a scheduled game, you need to call your team captain.

If you cannot complete a half-season, let your team captain know.

Because this is a learning league, we all help each other become better players and learn from more experienced players and our coaches.

Sportsmanship is stressed in this league. While we want everyone to play hard, we also want everyone to maintain respect for all players, coaches, refs, and the game. When we skate the line at the end of a game, we shake hands with all players and remember that our goal is to have fun!

WRHL Sub Expectations

You need to pay the team captain the amount required for each game BEFORE the game begins.

Just showing up to substitute without being notified will not guarantee that you can sub on either team.
